Nursery-SK Field Trips

All of our programs can be customized to work with the needs of your class. Activities listed below are examples and subject to change without notice. If you are interested in a particular part of a program please let us know! Two half-day programs can be combined to create a full-day program.

General Programs


Interact with barn and field animals, poultry and rabbits. Collect and weigh eggs and go on a hayride. Discuss animal parts and functions, adapting to seasonal changes and farm animal characteristics

Pumpkin Harvest – October

Visit a harvest display to learn how pumpkins and fall vegetables grow, make a craft, enjoy a hayride and participate in other Fall themed activities. This trip is available in October only. Each student takes home a small pie pumpkin.

Celebrate Winter – January to March (Weather Permitting)

Don’t let the chilly winter weather keep you indoors. For Primary grades, we’ve got snowshoeing, crazy carpets, crafts, science experiments and nature walk options plus hot chocolate to warm you up!

Choose Your Own Adventure!

You know your class better than we do! Our ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ program allows you to pick and choose activities from each of our programs to make the perfect day.

Spring Fling – April – June

This programs is a great way to enjoy all that Spring has to offer. Students will help us plant and tend to our garden, go for a tractor ride to see seasonal changes and visit the farm where they may even get to meet one of our baby animals! Each student will leave with a seedling plant to take home and plant in their garden that makes a great Mothers Day gift!
